Paella

Paella is a famous delicious Spanish dish. Many people know about its history. It is said that the servants of the Moore Empire were the first to make it. The Moors Empire occupied Spain from 711 to 1492 AD. Servants used to take the food that Moore used to save at military feasts. They used to cook rice and saffron in an open fire. The word paella is said to have originated from the Arabic word Baqi, which simply means leftover food.


Ekiben

When Japan occupied Taiwan during World War II. During that time Bento started becoming popular there. The selling of deep fried pork chops at the railway station in Bento Box became an everyday part. At that time this leftover food was sold in cartons. This dish was called Ekiben. This box food became very popular, which is still considered a part of Taiwanese culture. And even today, the food in the box given by the Taiwan Railways at the station is called Bento.


Pasta

Pasta is a very popular and widespread dish in Italy. It is said that the Carthaginians (present-day Tunisia) brought Durum wheat there in the 8th century. The specialty of this wheat was that it can dry up and harden compared to fresh pasta. Due to this quality, the industry of dried pasta was booming and it was spread all over Italy along with the world. There is hardly any country today where children are not aware of pasta.

Banh Mi is an international dish today. Although it is a cuisine of Vietnam, but this France is considered a sign of colonial times. The French came to Vietnam as missionaries in the 17th century. They had brought the Bugatt with them, but the people of Vietnam made their own version, which includes stuffing, pickle vegetables and meat in Silantro. Apart from this, Maggi sauce was also brought by the French.


Spam 

Due to the soldiers, the spam also reached some parts of the world. In the Second World War, the US Army ordered a 100 million pound spam for the US and Allied forces. In some areas it was returned. But in Asia Pacific, it was also accepted and liked. Spam and sardine were considered as the main source of protein due to the ban on fishing in many places in Hawaii. Today it has become part of the culture of these islands.
