Domestic automobile giant Tata Motors unveiled its 2021 Safari SUV on Thursday and got its first glimpse of the much-awaited SUV. The carmaker has rolled out the first unit of the 2021 Tata Safari. The company will formally launch the 2021 Tata Safari SUV later this month. In a flag-off ceremony, the first safari car came off the line at the company's Pune-based plant. Tata Motors said that bookings for the new Safari SUV will start soon.
Design
The new 2021 Safari uses Tata's award-winning Impact 2.0 design language. The new Safari SUV was previously given the codenamed Gravitas and was showcased at the Auto-Expo held last year. In the new avatar, this car looks more awesome than before. The company has worked hard to improve its design and look.
Exteriors
The carmaker has already revealed important details such as the installation of a new front grille. The car features an iconic stepped roof with chrome garnish on the D riller, and quite an eye-catching tailgale reveals its key design. Overall, this SUV has been given an ultra premium finish. The wheel arches are also very attractive and promise to take any route in the area and carry this SUV that can take on any bumpy route.
The interior
The interior of the Safari is made using a dashboard of ash wood. And with the luxurious Oyster White interior theme, it takes its premium look even further. The engine
The 2021 Tata Safari SUV uses the OMEGARC platform inspired by the Land Rover D8. The new Safari will get a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine will generate 168 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. This engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Talking about the dimensions of the new Safari, its length, width and height will be more than the old Tata Safari.
Price and combat
The 2021 Tata Safari SUV may be the most expensive SUV of Tata Motors. The Tata Harrier is the company's most expensive SUV at the moment. The top variants of the Tata Harrier are priced at over Rs 20 lakh. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like the 7-seater MG Hector Plus and Mahindra's upcoming SUV Mahindra XUV500 2021.
